Once reading Susan Beth Pfeffer book "Life As We Knew It", I found it a book that everyone should pick up and read. The book was action packed and kept you wondering what disaster would come next. It was a easy read and the chapters were short so the book didn't drag on. I am not the person to read or even be interested in a book such as this one, if had only looked at the inside cover. This book made you start to really feel what the characters were dealing with. It gave details.

One point in the book that really caught my eye was when Miranda had said" I've resolved to take a moment every day for the rest of my life to appreciate what i have"(page 294). After reading that it stood out to me because made me think how at times takes a terrible event to really enjoy everyday your alive.

I can understand why some may not favor this book. Some may not see the events as action packed and may say that this book keeps replaying the same situation, how the family is stuck in the house. Yet, all these disasters i see are the action part of the book also, the family being stuck in the house does not always occur, but yet is the main setting.

So in the end this book is one people should pick up and read. It is action packed and is easy to follow and know what is going on.
